We have many plans for 2012 including our bi-annual Head and Neck Conference, participating in the National Smoke-out Day, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, offer CEU's for our members and raising funds to support members to attend the National Congress this year held in Washington DC Plus many more. You can do as much or as little as you like, just get plugged in!
National SOHN Annual Congress and Symposium, September 2011
We were well represented this year at the National Congress and Symposium. We presented both a poster presentation as well as a Chapter Showcase. We came home with a Chapter Excellence Award, our 3rd such award!
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life, May 2011
Hosted and organized by the North Jefferson County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Relay for life was held in Gardendale at the First Baptist Church. We had a great time celebrating life, meeting survivors, talking with families of those who lost their battle and remember those who we know are, were affected by cancer. Our chapter raised over $1,000.00 for the American Cancer Society. Great job Guys!
